The Africa Public Service Day is an important event in the calendar of the African Union and is celebrated at two levels; nationally every year and continentally, once every two years as a strategy to boost public administration programmes, public sector performance and governance. The Day therefore provides a platform for public servants to showcase and reward innovative initiatives, achievements and positive contributions to the social economic development, as well as sustain quality service delivery for economic growth.
The Theme of this year’s APSD is “Building a Resilient Education System: The Foundation of a future Public Service to Revitalize the Economy”.
