SDCA initiates development of Strategic Plan

The State Department for Cabinet Affairs has initiated plans to develop a strategic plan for FY 2023/2027 to guide its activities and align its operations to government policy priorities for the next 5yrears.
The exercise was officially opened by the Principal Secretary Dr. Idris Salim Dokota who commended the team for their commitment and emphasized that the Strategic Plan will be the roadmap for SDCA for the next 5 years. He urged the team to burn the midnight oil to deliver this important document. He noted that this exercise is part of the results-based management framework in the public service that guides the delivery of the mandate and expressed satisfaction that the team is up to the task. 
This is the 5th generation Strategic Plan and is aligned to national development goals and priorities namely; Bottom - Up Economic Transformation Agenda for inclusive growth; Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP lV); Vision 2030; Sustainable Development Goals, Regional development priorities and Africa Agenda 2063 among others. 
At the end of the exercise, the team is expected to develop 4 documents namely: Strategic plan; stakeholder engagement framework; resource mobilization; and monitoring and evaluation framework.
